Mukul Dev started his German language learning journey with Eton Institute and has quickly progressed to the A2.2 level. Read on to find out why he’s learning German, where he’ll use his language skills, and how it’ll benefit him in the future.

Hi, Mukul! Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Hi! I am 18 years old, fresh out of high school, and am planning to study abroad, preferably in Germany.

Why did you decide to learn German?

I took up this course because I require German proficiency to get admission to universities in Germany.

What made you choose a course at Eton Institute?

I preferred Eton Institute since I had very limited language learning options in Dubai.

How was your experience studying at Eton?

So far, the experience has been absolutely wonderful. There is no problem with the course, and it’s going well.

What’s your best tip for people who want to start learning German?

For everyone who wants to start learning German, just be determined, no matter what. Learning a new language will always be a challenge, but don’t give up!

What did you find challenging and how did you overcome it?

I found the pronunciation of some words difficult since I was completely new to the language. I overcame this challenge by hearing native Germans speak, and German movies and songs tend to help you a lot too.

Are there any other languages on your bucket list?

French and Arabic are languages that I really would like to learn.
