The intensive TESOL certificate is a 120 hour course which is entirely class-room based and involves attending classes at the institute over a duration of 6 weeks. It covers an in-depth syllabus and focuses on lesson planning and practical teaching skills which will equip those who are new to the profession and inspire those who already have some experience. On completion of your course, graduates will receive a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) awarded by Eton Institute and the City & Guilds ACE (Access Certificate in ELT) qualification.
This course is ideal for those who are able to study independently and hand in assignments in a timely fashion. Applicants may join the course on any Monday of their choice, and attend for seven consecutive weeks, with additional days in the week for teaching practice. The Monday classes give the candidate an opportunity to interact with peers, get first-hand support and feedback, and deliver between 1 and 4 hours of observed teaching practice. On completion of this course, individuals will receive a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) awarded by Eton Institute. The City & Guilds ACE (Access Certificate in ELT) qualification is optional for the Extended course.
TESOL Online course is conducted entirely through online distance learning. It comes with the personal support of a qualified teacher trainer who will guide the learner and assess submitted assignments throughout the course. Upon completion of this course, graduates will have a good knowledge and awareness of techniques and skills required to be a successful English language teacher. Students will also receive a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language awarded by Eton Institute.
